Our healthcare center offers comprehensive support through a team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, counselors, and Behavior Team experts.
Collaborating closely with our Residential, Behavioral, and Family Services units, we ensure a holistic approach to care.
Our Behavior Team, led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Behavior Specialists crafts personalized behavior support plans. Implementation of behavior supports in residential and day program settings are overseen by 24/7 on-site behavior specialists who also provide ongoing training to front-line staff.
Behavior data is shared and the team collaborates directly with Arc Mercer psychiatrists and therapists.
We offer mental health services including psychiatric care, individual, group, and family therapy to empower our consumers in healthy expression.
Our nursing staff, doubling as Care Coordinators, facilitate seamless communication among primary care physicians, specialists, and mental health professionals within The Arc Mercer.
Our integrated approach has significantly reduced emergency room visits, unscheduled hospitalizations, psychiatric medication use, and crisis center admissions.
