Step Ahead CPR First Aid Training

March 7th, 2014

On March 7, 2014 the ARC Mercer’s Step Ahead Child Care Center Staff attended a re-certification of their American Red Cross CPR and First Aid skills. The class reviews topics such as: What to do in a life threatening emergency, when to call 911, how to check an infant and child for injury or illness, and playground and environmental emergencies. All the staff demonstrated competency in how to help a choking infant or child and CPR with child-size mannequins.

Certification is valid for 2 years.

As per DDD requirements, a review of Danielle’s Law was conducted.
