Join The Arc Mercer team on July 26th at 180 Ewingville Road in Ewing, NJ, as we commemorate Liberia's Independence Day with a vibrant celebration! This special event will feature a flag-raising ceremony, delicious Liberian food, a distinguished guest speaker, and exciting updates on Project 601 LiberiArc.

Project 601 LiberiArc: A Beacon of Hope

Project 601 LiberiArc, an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Liberia, has recently gained significant momentum. The Arc Mercer leadership, in collaboration with Liberia's First Lady, Mrs. Kartumu Y. Boakai, is working tirelessly to establish the first Arc International chapter in Monrovia. This groundbreaking project envisions building 15 schools across Liberia, providing essential services, education, and training to empower individuals with IDD and their families.

A Shared Vision for a Brighter Future

The Arc Mercer's strong Liberian cultural ties, particularly within the vibrant Liberian Culture Group of the Team Atmosphere Committee (TAC), have fueled the passion and dedication behind Project 601. This initiative is more than just a project; it is a testament to the power of cultural collaboration and the shared commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable world.
