Enhancing Support: Inside The Team Atmosphere Committee's Mission at Arc Mercer

Updated: Jun 14

At the of Arc Mercer, a commitment to fostering an environment of support and empowerment thrives through the dedicated efforts of the Team Atmosphere Committee (TAC). The forefront of this initiative is the earnest endeavor to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our mission critical staff, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to excel in their roles.

TAC facilitates town hall style meetings, providing a platform for our invaluable staff members to engage directly with directors and the executive team. These gatherings serve as vital forums where feedback is not only welcomed but actively sought after, enabling swift action to address any challenges or concerns faced within our group homes and programs.

Recently, we had the privilege of sitting down with Aloysius Sirleaf, a shining example of the profound impact TAC has had on our community. Al, as he is fondly known, epitomizes the spirit of engagement and dedication that TAC strives to cultivate. In a candid interview, Al shared his firsthand experience of the transformative power of TAC meetings.

“It’s so beautiful to know that upper management can set up a TAC meeting just to get feedback from the frontline staff, it is amazing.”

By bridging the gap between frontline staff and leadership, TAC ensures that the voices of our dedicated team members are not only heard but acted upon promptly.

By prioritizing the well-being of our staff, we ultimately enhance the quality of care and services provided to the individuals we support. Through collaborative efforts and open communication, TAC fosters an environment where every member feels valued and empowered to contribute to our collective success.

To all our staff members, we extend an invitation to actively participate in TAC meetings, where your voice matters, and your feedback shapes the future of Arc Mercer.

Talk to your manager if you want to get involved at the next meeting or email ebropleh@arcmercer.org for more information.
